Catgirl Tutorial



The creation of the illustrations for the Wilde Home for Wayward Catgirls is completed in a series of distinct steps, from sketch to finished artwork. Below are several of those steps, with brief comments on each. More detailed comments will be included as time permits. If you have any questions, email the Headmistress!
 


Step 1: Pencil Sketch

Note: the pencil drawing appears a yellowish-brown due to the scanning process.
 

Step 2: Inking

The drawing in its inked form. The pencil lines have been erased,
plenty of details have been added, and it is now ready for coloring.
 

Step 3: Base Marker Colors

The first Prismacolor marker colors are added.
 

Step 4: Fleshtones

Now the fleshtones have been added to Jezebel and Phaedra using Prismacolor pencils.
